Set up an Investments in the Future project

As part of this major lending programme, INRA Transfert was selected to set up and manage the 'Investissements d'Avenir' (Investments in the Future) projects coordinated by INRA. With 10 specialists in complex projects and Investments in the Future projects, INRA Transfert carries out the following specific tasks:

  • Assist the coordinating centres with managing the many partners involved in each project;
  • Serve as a link between the partners of each project and the ANR and CGI (General Commission for Investment);
  • Protect and promote the interests of the Investments in the Future projects to stimulate their ripple effect on growth.

What is the Investments in the Future programme?

Launched in 2010, the 'Investissements d'Avenir' (Investments in the Future) programme represents €35 billion to be injected into higher education, vocational training, research, industry, SMEs, sustainable development, and in any other sectors of the future such as digital technology, biotechnology and nuclear science.

This funding programme, which is implemented through a system of calls for projects, aims to cultivate fertile ground for innovation to drive economic recovery and restore strong, sustainable growth with a significant ripple effect. The stated goal of the programme is to encourage research and innovation and to transform France into a knowledge society.
